Clicking the plus button too fast results in non-stop additions!

I tend to click things really fast. So when I am crafting something and only want about 5 items made, I just click the little plus button to add more, instead of typing in the number. But apparently if I do so too fast, it results in the number counting up - on it's own! And it doesn't stop! I have to remove the project from the table to make it stop!
