Pathfinding Broken On Current Save

Just ran into a weird glitch on my latest run. Pathfinding for raids, and all of my units are mostly broken across the map. On this run I've dug down about 9 levels and on each level I'd strip mine a little to look for iron. Since I've started this endeavor the pathfinding has become inconsistent. Characters jog in place and seem to be running into invisible walls. Others draw the path that they want to walk, but then they just stand around idly instead of walking.

No one (enemies, allies, or my characters) can navigate the map anymore. Everything outside of my base is ruined basically.

There are a few issues I'm working on with pathing in the mid-late game that should help. If you send your save along, I'll make sure it addresses them. In the short term - open up one or more of the choke points going into where they're stuck - you should be able to get people to move in chunks (like sub 5-10) tiles at a time until you open something up. My apologies for the issue!

Also to clarify, pathfinding is broken on the entire map for me -- not just near the choke points. Movement inside of the base is more or less fine. Everything outside of it is very messed up.

Hey - okay - I think it is the same issue I'm looking at. When I load your save up - if I leave it paused and then tell someone to go somewhere outside - EEEEEVENTUALLLY it'll work itself out, once that happens, I can tell people to go anywhere and it's pretty snappy (as long as I stay paused).

What's at play here are all the enemies triggering pathing at the same time and trying to pathfind down into your base - and with the way it's oriented here (only entrance on the far side away from them), they have to search the whole map to see if they can get in. I'm working on a solution to this and should have something in the next day or so. In the meantime, if you open up an entrance on each of the cardinal axes, it'll work around it for now.
