Is there a way to turn off blood? Or at least limit the amount of it. If not it'd be a nice addition

Was just wondering if there was an option to turn down the blood amount, I understand it's apart of the cleaning system however it would be nice to just limit the amount of it that spews everywhere.  Just since this game looks so kid friendly outside of that.  Just a suggestion/question.  Nothing wrong with a bit of blood but I have a younger friend who would love to play this but I don't want it to be a bad influence on him.
