About humanoid meat, skin, leather...

Am I the only one here that find it completely freaky how the nobles treat the consumption of meat skin and leather of all humanoid creatures (including themselves) as something completely normal?

It doesn't bother me that there is an option to butcher and all the processes to work on their skin as there are some players (specially on rimworld) that like that level of darkness in the game. But the nobles having a chat about it and stating their taste in regards to this is just like WTF? :-D :-D :-D I do have a dark sense of humor btw :-)
